Project overview

Piktical has created a disruptive solution for revolutionising the global ticketing industry. Their patent-pending technology provides a secure way to beat the bots, tackle the touts and put event organisers in control of their tickets. In its early stages of development, we were tasked to identify and focus the Piktical message and create a disruptive ‘personality’ to form the groundwork for future engagement with varied audiences.

Website and app

This innovative business concept required a professional brand and reference website that would serve to explain the process to key stakeholders and potential investors. We devised a website structured with clear divisions to educate the audience - posing the problem, offering the solution, then outlining the benefits and costs. We subsequently extended the brand into skinning the mobile app.

Following their research, our designers developed a tech inspired logo, expanding this into a colour palette that would be utilised for the four sections of content: Problem, Solution, Adoption, Costs. Searching our top quality stock library resources for relevant subject matter, these impactful Pop Art illustrations were perfect for bringing the content to life alongside real-life imagery.

Launch

At the time of development, the Piktical team were talking to key influencers within the entertainment and ticket sales industry, as well as key speaker roles at tech conferences. To support the launch and to raise brand awareness, VRVE designed and produced a number of supporting assets such as business cards, pull-up banners and a company brochure for handing out at seminars.
